New videos for setting up and performing a Manual Red Cell Exchange in Sickle Cell Disease

NHS Blood and Transplant, and Dr Sara Trompeter (Consultant Haematologist and Paediatric Haematologist, University College London NHS Foundation Trust and NHS Blood and Transplant) have developed two new animations illustrating the principles of manual red cell exchange in sickle cell disease.

The two videos, for patients under 40kg or those 40kg and over, will be available on the Patient Blood Management YouTube channel and the Hospitals & Science website Patient Blood Management Education page with examples of supporting documentation.
