NICE rapid guidance

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) have provided guidance to maximise the safety of patients requiring haemopoietic stem cell transplantation while protecting staff from infection.

Samples or donations from donors/patients known or suspected to be infected

Please inform the laboratory if samples or donations come from a donor or patient who is known, or suspected, to be infected with COVID-19.

Please be assured that we continue to support hospitals as contracted. We are monitoring the situation closely and will inform you of any changes that may be necessary to mitigate the risks associated with the COVID-19 outbreak.
