CPD module in Management of Clinical Services
This module is part of our new MSc in Applied Transfusion and Transplantation Science
The Management of Clinical Services module is part of our new MSc in Applied Transfusion and Transplantation Science and may be of particular interest for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). It is delivered in full through distance learning.
The module is relevant for other NHS lab disciplines beyond transfusion and offers an opportunity to gain advanced knowledge in the management of clinical services and its application within healthcare and the clinical laboratory environment, including managing quality systems and processes, continuous improvement, clinical audit as well as purposeful management and leadership.
The MSc starts this September and is delivered in a partnership between NHSBT and the University of the West of England. It is designed to meet the needs of the NHS, and is endorsed by the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT).
It is a modular programme delivered through blended learning (distance learning and face to face practicals).
