Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) – For patients with suspected TTP / Microangiopathic Haemolytic Anaemia (MAHA) please contact Haematology at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital for advice and access to therapeutic apheresis if required. Red Cell Exchange – For patients with sickle cell disease please contact Haematology at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital for advice and access to therapeutic apheresis if required.
Hyperviscosity – contact your tertiary provider for haemato-oncology for advice and access to therapeutic apheresis if required.

Neurological conditions – For patients who may require therapeutic apheresis please contact your tertiary neurology service provider at the Walton for clinical advice and access to treatment.
