Haematology - If you require Therapeutic Apheresis for haematological conditions please contact the organisations / departments as listed below:

Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) - Contact the on-call Haematologist. Therapeutic Apheresis would be provided by NHS Blood and Transplant either at the patient’s bedside or at Royal Liverpool University Hospital (dependant on patient age and underlying / associated conditions). Red Cell Exchange - Contact the on-call Haematologist. Therapeutic Apheresis would be provided by NHS Blood and Transplant

Hyperviscosity - Contact your tertiary provider for haemato-oncology for advice and access to therapeutic apheresis if required

Leucodepletion - NHS Blood and Transplant

Renal conditions and vasculitides - Renal team at Alder Hey Hospital

Neurological conditions - Contact NHS Blood and Transplant

Extracorporeal Photopheresis - Contact your tertiary provider for haemato-oncology for advice and access to therapeutic apheresis if required
