Online Blood Ordering System (OBOS): version 9.0.3 release on 21 May 2023
Details of changes in the release to the live and training systems
The updates are:
Platelet standing orders
Following feedback from hospitals, it is now possible to detail the date of transfusion (on the day of delivery, 1 or 2 days after delivery) which means hospitals do not need to provide this detail in the line notes when ordering. This does not apply to specialist stock orders.
HT neg and frozen components
Requesting HT neg on group AB frozen components requires manual amendments to orders for a unrequired specificity. The HT tick box will be disabled for group AB frozen requests.
Details of these changes are in the release notes which will be published on the OBOS web page in line with the release date.
