New Assistant Director of RCI

We are pleased to announce that Wisdom Musabaike has been appointed, taking over from Mark Williams, who is retiring at the end of the year. Mark has kindly offered to return to NHSBT for two months to support the transition and handover of his responsibilities.

Wisdom is currently the Pathology Lead Quality and Risk Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital and has over 20 year’s leadership experience in pathology and transfusion, including Chief Biomedical Scientist in Haematology/Transfusion at the Royal London Hospital Trust.

I would like to thank Mark for his contributions to safe transfusion to patients over the last 40 years and for being a mentor and role model to many scientists in NHBST and beyond.
