Please do not use adhesive labels on our Phase Change Materials (PCMs)

Last February we asked hospital staff not to write or use sticky labels on PCMs. Unfortunately this practice is continuing in some hospitals, where labels are being used during pre-conditioning. While this is understandable, it creates a quality issue as it compromises cleanliness. Additionally, removing the label residue is difficult and time consuming.

Control of the pre-conditioning time is important but should be achieved without causing any change to the PCMs.

Please review your local practice and amend if required.
