TAS units
Therapeutic Apheresis Services are delivered across England and North Wales by eight units. Each unit has a consultant and lead nurse who manage a clinical team.
How to make a referral
Please phone our 0300 020 0496 and select the option (for example, press 2 for Bristol, 3 for London) to be directed to the unit you wish to make the referral to.
Birmingham
Patients / visitors to the Therapeutic Apheresis Services (TAS) unit please attend the Sickle Cell and Thalassemia Centre at City Hospital on the first floor (D19) as usual and staff will direct you to the unit from there.
