The first national hospital satisfaction survey was conducted in June 2003. The aims of the survey are to understand the hospital perception of NBS service and improve aspects of the service that hospitals have identified as being important to them. The results from this survey will form the benchmark against which NBS performance through future surveys will be measured.
This report provides a summary of the results obtained from the Hospital Satisfaction Survey conducted with Transfusion Laboratory Managers in October, 2003. The survey covered all aspects of NBS service but this time only the satisfaction section of the survey was conducted. It is intended to conduct the importance part of the survey only once per year.
