Tissue Services
Most people know that the NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) runs the country's blood donation and banking services. The NHSBT also operates a tissue donation and banking programme, through NHSBT Tissue Services. Their specially-trained staff work closely with families, hospitals, health professionals and other services to raise awareness of tissue donation and maintain the highest standards in this life-saving field.
