Clinical Audit and Effectiveness
Clinical Audit is a multidisciplinary activity which systematically examines practice to ensure the best possible care is delivered to patients and blood donors. It reviews clinical practice against set standards. Three main areas are considered within the audit cycle:
- What should be happening
- What is actually happening
- What changes are needed
