NHSBT Online Blood Ordering System (OBOS)
The OBOS training environment will be updated to version 3.2.1 on Friday 9th March and the live environment will be updated on Sunday 25th March 2012. Please find details of the improvements to OBOS in the release notes, the updated training presentation and version 7 of the user guide . Version 7 of the user guide becomes effective on Sunday 25th March. All previous versions should be deleted.

Reagents
NBS Reagents provide a wide range of reagents for use in red cell serology grouping, screening and investigations.

Stem Cells
The Stem Cell Immunotherapy (SCI) laboratories provide a range of services to support haemopoietic stem cell transplantation including collection, processing and cryopreservation of stem cells including cord blood cells.

Tissue Services
In addition to running blood donation and banking services, NHSBT also operates a tissue donation and banking programme. The Tissue Services staff work closely with families, hospitals, health professionals and other services to raise awareness of tissue donation and maintain the highest standards in this life-saving field.
