- If you require Therapeutic Apheresis for haematological conditions please contact the organisations / departments as listed below:
Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) – For patients with suspected TTP / Microangiopathic Haemolytic Anaemia (MAHA) please contact Haematology at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital for advice and access to therapeutic apheresis if required. Red Cell Exchange - For patients with sickle cell disease please contact Haematology at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital for advice and access to therapeutic apheresis if required.
Hyperviscosity - NHS Blood and Transplant or tertiary haemato-oncology care provider if clinical support required.
Leucodepletion - NHS Blood and Transplant or tertiary haemato-oncology care provider if clinical support required.
Renal conditions and vasculitides - NHS Blood and Transplant
Neurological conditions - NHS Blood and Transplant in conjunction with the Walton Centre
Extracorporeal Photopheresis - NHS Blood and Transplant
