Haemopoietic Stem Cell Services

The National Blood Service (NBS) provides a comprehensive range of services to support haemopoietic stem cell transplantation.

These activities are underpinned by our extensive experience in Good Manufacturing Practice. Recently, NBS stem cell services have been re-organised and facilities re-equipped to enable them to undertake complex processing and to comply with the Department of Health´s new Code of Practice for Tissue Banking.
